WHAT COACHING MEANS TO ME

“Coaching helps the clients get the positive results they want through better performance of the leader, the team or the organisation.  It gives them greater personal impact by developing an individual leadership style made up of what they are able to do (strengths), who they are (personality), and what they stand for (values) and helps them to find the next career opportunity by developing and implementing a career vision and strategy.Coaching helps leaders in complex organisations unleash their unique potential.”

MY BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE

After a PhD in History, I had the opportunity to observe up close what works and what doesn’t work in several complex organisations as an HR Executive for 15 years. Since then, I have been working for more than 10 years as a Coach with senior leaders, high potentials, and teams in a wide range of sectors.

MY COACHING SPECIALISMS

  • I specialise in working with senior leaders, leadership teams, high potentials and women leaders
  • I work with complex organisations in the private and the public sector worldwide

MY COACHING STYLE

I am convinced about the need to start with a solid diagnosis, choosing from a portfolio of diagnostic instruments. These serve to set clear and ambitious objectives. I have the ability to select and use the best individual approach and do not depend on a standard methodology. I focus on the results rather than on the process. For me, there is not one leadership theory that is more effective than others. What is more helpful is to learn from different leadership theories in order to develop an individual leadership style.

MY COACHING CREDENTIALS

  • Leadership Coach at IMD International
  • Group Coach at the INSEAD Global Leadership Centre
  • Certified Linkage International Coach
  • Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (FCIPD)
  • Coaching supervision

WHAT MY CLIENTS SAY ABOUT ME

He has helped me to flex my style to get the best solution even though this would move me out of my comfort zone” CEO, International Private Bank

“Coaching has been useful; realistic; it will help in day-to-day business; there is a good connection between theory and how to “use” in practice.”  Partner, Big Four Professional Services Firm
